Troubled Marriage: Some Helpful Tips For You

What happened to the happy-go-lucky love we had when we were dating? Why did everything go downhill once we got married? We were supposed to be  in love forever, I felt like it would never end. Why would it end…it was perfect…

I know I’m not alone here. Maybe you are like me. You had a wonderful, loving relationship when you were just dating, and the first couple months of marriage were fantastic…but then it all started going downhill from there. Why? What happened?

Marriage troubles are actually very common. This is especially true after about six months to a year, maybe even more time will go by, before the troubles show up. The first couple months of aa marriage will amost always be fantastic. You will be madly in love. Everything will be wonderful, nothing could ever go wrong. This is one reason why, when the troubles do come, we are so unprepared to deal with it, becuase we thought that this could never happen to us…but it did.

So now that we have these marriage troubles, how do we get them to go away? We’re not ready for a divorce, that is such a drastic measure. How can we fix it now?

Marriage counseling is expensive. I would rather try some other ways to help this first. There are tons of books out there, but which ones do I read? And I know that I, like many, many other people out there, will read book after book about how to fix my relationship, but I will never do anything about it. That’s not helping anybody.

I did end up buying some books, some e-books, some videos, we even went to marriage counseling. But our situation was getting worse not better, and my husband began to not want to work it out anymore. I got really desperate.
